I developed myself in the field of Oncology with the motivation of cancer cases that I frequently encountered in my family and environment. I took the first steps of my oncology journey at the Radiation Oncology Department at Boston University, where I spent my internship. After completing my Radiation Oncology specialization training at Hacettepe University, I worked abroad for a long time.

Continuing my life by doing research on global technologies in the fight against cancer; Between 2004 and 2009, I took part in many scientific studies in France and Switzerland. After working in France European Cancerology Program, Lausanne University Radiation Oncology Department, Switzerland Villigen Paul Scherrer Institute Proton Therapy Center and France Orsay Proton Therapy Center, I returned to Turkey to share my experiences first hand with our own citizens.

My Past and Present Oncology Experience

After my studies at Başkent University and Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, I established the Medstar Antalya Hospital Radiation Oncology Department under the Memorial Health Group.

I have participated in many national and international articles, scientific publications and projects. Until the end of 2018, I continued my studies at Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital, Medical Park Göztepe Hospital and Altınbaş University. Along with the experiences I gained on this journey, I published my book “Cancer in 50 Questions”.

Today, I am actively publishing articles in the Science Corner in the Street Supplement of Milliyet Newspaper. As a Visiting Lecturer at Bahçeşehir University Radiation Oncology Department, I train future scientists and I am happy to be with my patients with the motto of "Personalized Oncology" for a healthy life journey at BP Clinic.
